  5. Written to suit the Sound Blaster AWE 32, with the Control panel set as follows:

  16. I think that this is quite a close transcription of Tubular Bells II,
  17. just a few subtle changes.

  19. It should sound fine with any sound card that uses the Roland GS standard, 
  20. if you have a General MIDI card most of it should sound OK, but a couple of
  21. sounds are missing/substituted.
  22. Don't try using a MT32 the sounds are all wrong.

  24. No userbanks were used, which allows the sequence to run on a standard AWE 32 
  25. without any memory upgrade.

  27. If you have added a lot of memory to your AWE card then there's no reason why 
  28. you couldn't add some 'Master of Ceremonies' samples, to tell the truth I 
  29. couldn't be bothered as I've been working on this for a couple of months and 
  30. have really lost interest. 
  31. (Hence no big build up towards the end of 'The Bell'.)

  33. Some parts I must admit sound a little bit odd, but what do you expect with a
  34. 190.00 pound sound card and free software, other bits don't sound bad at all 
  35. even if I say so myself.

  37. Yes, I know that during "The Bell" there is suppose to be a 'Digital Sound 
  38. Processor' bit, but Creative Labs didn't see fit to include one in the AWE,
  39. I played around with a couple of sounds and riffs but it just didn't sound 
  40. right so I left it out, all letters to Creative Labs ...................

  42. If I can build up enough enthusiasm and find enough time, I will attempt the
  43. second side, most of it is fairly simple(!!!). I've produced a rough draft, 
  44. the hardest bit for me is trying to get the banjo plucking riffs on 'Moonshine'
  45. (anyone know a banjo  player?).  Also does anyone know how to sequence a 
  46. lunatic running and jumping around a stage making strange noises 
  47. (Altered State), I think I'll have to work round that one.
